About My Practice

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC, MEd) and a master’s-level therapist on Vancouver Island, BC. I am recognized by most extended health benefit plans. I offer counselling for adults and youth who are facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, or feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves or others. Many of the people I work with have lived through ongoing stress, loss, or difficult relationships that have shaped how they see themselves and how they move through the world. These experiences can leave lasting emotional and physical impacts, even years later, and are sometimes what people mean when they talk about complex trauma.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in understanding how our past experiences can influence how we think, feel, and respond today. In counselling, I help people make sense of these experiences and find new ways to heal and reconnect with themselves and others.

Counselling with me is a supportive space where you can bring your whole self and talk about what truly matters. At its heart, my work is about fostering belonging, trust, and meaningful change. I honour the strength it takes to reach out for support and believe that healing grows through connection, with yourself, with others, and with your community.
